Haliza Industries Sdn Bhd (HISB) is a snacks manufacturing company consist of corn and potato based snacks. HISB is keen to provide healthy and tasty snacks. The company produces variety of flavours such as chicken, prawn, cheese, tomato, barbeque, hot & spicy and pizza. The main purpose of our company is to produce product that are free of Monosodium Glutamate (MSG), artificial colouring, trans-fat free, and less cholesterol.
This company is under guidance by the Ministry of Agriculture Malaysia (MOA) such as Malaysian Agricultural Research & Development Institute (MARDI), Federal Agricultural Marketing Authority (FAMA), and Department of Agriculture. HISB also assists by USM, UKM and SIRIM in term of quality control and product development. Besides that, ICU, Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation (MATRADE) and Northern Corridor also contribute in term of promotion and advertisement both locally and overseas. HISB also involve in promoting and business matching for international market and has attracted foreign importers from China, Singapore, Brunei, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, New Zealand, Japan, South Korea, India, Seychelles, Mauritius, and other countries.
Our company plan is to increase current production capacity and variety of products such as cereal and biscuits to fulfill consumer demands, while at the same time produce healthy and halal certified product.
This project is expected to bring profitable returns since halal and healthy snack products without artificial colouring, no preservatives, and no added Monosodium Glutamate (MSG) are still not many can be found in the local market and are receiving a very high demand abroad. Currently, our production capacity of snack at our factory is 15,000 packs per day. This production is expected to continue to increase as there is an increasing demand from buyers abroad and within the country from time to time.
