The history of Thai Forest Products dated back to 1879 in Dorset, England. A local family "Cornick Family", who passionate in making jam by using only perfectly riped fruit, set up a company aiming at producing the finest jam. Every jar of jam will be made in small batch to ensure that all standards were met.
Since then, the jam business was gradually growing and inheriting from generation to generation. Until Mr.Steve Cornick (4th generation of company's management team) saw an opportunity to expand the business by merging with FOREST PRODUCTS UK LTD in 1986.
After that, the new product line has begun which includes the traditional Indian Chutney, savoury sauces, and the most famous citric fruit curd. Furthermore, our products had won many national food-tasting competitions such as Finest Extra Blackcurrant Jam and Spicy Tomato with Caramelised Onion received GOLD Medal in The Great Taste Awards.
So as to introduce the taste of original English recipe of jam and chutney to the South East Asia, Thailand was chosen as a launch site because of rich and fresh fruits plus clean and delicately cooking style of Thais.
Hence, THAI FOREST PRODUCTS LTD started up since then (Year 2008), under license to Forest Products UK LTD.
Our Thai company's commitments remain as same as of the 100-year-old Cornick Philosophy by using only the best quality ingredients making finest products possible.
