Taylor Quinn
Taylor Quinn is a social entrepreneur dedicated to designing and implementing nutritious low-cost food systems. He moved to Liberia during the Ebola outbreak in 2015 and used his background as a food anthropologist and social entrepreneur to build a Liberian-owned and operated business that produces nutritious low-cost delicious food (flavored cassava-based porridges) targeting consumers living in extreme poverty.
Since then, he's taken this nutritious low-cost plant-based food approach to work in 10 countries, ranging from Brazil to Somalia, with plant-based ground beef, banana-leaf wrapped snack bars, and low-cost nut butter. He runs his social enterprise while working to scale his models through consulting projects with the UN World Food Programme. For his work, Taylor has been awarded the Queen Elizabeth Diamond Jubilee Medal and has recently won the Lead2030 SDG #2 Challenge as well as the Healthy Food Challenge.
For fun, Taylor runs multi-hour ultra marathons, with solo accomplishments in the mountains of New Zealand and Rwanda, and having placed in ultramarathon races in Europe and North America.
